Australia & UK Warranty


 

 

1. Digital Cameras, DSLRs, DSLR Lenses, Flashes, Digital Camcorders & Professional Camcorders (Non-Waterproof)

  • These non-waterproof products are covered by CameraParadise.com Door-to-Door (CPD2D) Warranty for 18 months.
  • The period of CPD2D Warranty shall be 18 months starting from the purchase date.
  • Only manufacturing fault shall be covered by CPD2D Warranty. Once Buyer´s request is confirmed, CameraParadise.com will send a courier to Buyer´s door, pick up the malfunctioning unit, and have it sent back to our office directly; all of these without Buyer paying a cent!
  • CPD2D Warranty shall be valid only if CameraParadise.com receives the faulty product within the period of warranty. Any previous notifications from Buyer will become invalid if CameraParadise.com cannot receive the product within the warranty period.
  • CPD2D Warranty only applies to purchases with the format of order number, CP********-***, but not to any other versions.
  • The Warranty is only available to Delivery Addresses in Australia or UK. If your Delivery Address is from a different country, please visit our International Warranty Services or email us for a revised warranty policy.
  • CPD2D Warranty does not apply to the followings:
    • Buyer makes any further use, alters, or repairs to the malfunctioning product without the agreement of CameraParadise.com.
    • The product is sold to third parties since CPD2D Warranty is only given to the original Buyer, and the product shall only be picked up from the original address.
    • Buyer uses PO BOX address, since it is not possible to arrange any pick-up.
    • The serial number of the item does not match our record or the serial number has been scratched, peeled off, or disappeared.
    • Any product that already comes with international warranty, typically Olympus cameras.
    • Periodic checkup, maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tears.
    • Costs relating to transport, removal, or installation of the product.
    • Misuse, including the failure to use the product for its normal purposes or incorrect installation.
    • Damages caused by shock or fall, sand, dirt, dust, dampness or corrosion, leaky batteries, lightning, liquid, fire, acts of god, war, public ventilation or any other causes beyond the control of CameraParadise.com.
    • Any failures related but not limited to battery life, insufficient battery duration etc.
    • Purchases made on eBay.
    • All waterproof products.
  • For non-repairable products, CameraParadise.com shall not compensate Buyer with 100% value of the original purchase unit price. Please consider with the rate of depreciation.
  • If the product is warrantable, CameraParadise.com shall be responsible for the repair fee and postage sending the repaired product from us back to Buyer.
  • The cost of sending the product (if unwarrantable) from us back to Buyer would only be responsible by Buyer and would be the same as the one Buyer paid in the original purchase price, excluding discounts if any. If Buyer does not pay this cost, CameraParadise.com shall not send the product back and shall keep the products for solely 60 days. If this cost is still not received from Buyer after 60 days, CameraParadise.com will dispose the product without prior notice.
  • All items included in the purchase (official accessories, boxes, and packaging) must be sent back to us within the 18-month period. CPD2D Warranty voids if all items are not fully received within that period.
  • Manufacturer Test Report to confirm the order in question suffered from manufacturer fault may alo be required, depending on the related problem. 
  • In the event of a dispute, CameraParadise.com reserves the rights of final decision.

2. Digital Cameras & Digital Camcorders (Waterproof)

  • These waterproof products are covered by CameraParadise.com 12-Month Warranty.
  • The period of the Warranty shall be 12 months starting from the purchase date.
  • Buyer needs to at first obtain an "initial report" from the related manufacturer, confirming it is a manufacturer fault.
  • Buyer then provides us with the "initial report", and we will request a courier to pick up the product from Buyer´s ordered address, at our cost.
  • If Buyer does not have the “initial report” but still want to claim the warranty, Buyer could arrange delivery of the item to our office by themselves and our technical team will do the checking.
  • If Buyer is unable to provide the "initial report" from the manufacturer and we find the camera not of manufacturer fault, no further dispute regarding the validity can be requested. 
  • If the product is warrantable, CameraParadise.com shall be responsible for the repair fee and postage sending the repaired product from us back to Buyer.
  • The cost of sending the product (if unwarrantable) from us back to Buyer would only be responsible by Buyer and would be the same as the one Buyer paid in the original purchase price, excluding discounts if any.   • CameraParadise.com will not be liable for damages on any other items used in conjunction with the product.
  • In the event of a dispute, CameraParadise.com reserves the rights to the final decision.

  • Accessories include UV and CPL Filters, Lens Hoods, Lens Caps, Flash Cords, Flash Diffusers, Flash Holder, Battery Grips, Remote Cords, Remote Controls, Camera Bags, Camera Cases, Hand Grips, Tripods, Memory Cards, Cleaning Kits, HDMI Cable, and Light Meter.
  • These products are covered by CameraParadise.com 12-Month Warranty.
  • The period of the Warranty shall be 12 months starting from the purchase date.
  • Once request of the Warranty is confirmed by CameraParadise.com, Buyer shall arrange delivery of the item to our office by themselves.
  • The cost of sending the product (both warrantable and unwarrantable) from us back to Buyer would be responsible by Buyer and would be the same as the one Buyer paid in the original purchase price, excluding discounts if any. If Buyer does not pay this cost, CameraParadise.com shall not send the product back and shall keep the products for solely 60 days. If this cost is still not received from Buyer after 60 days, CameraParadise.com will dispose the product without prior notice.

4. How to Make a Warranty Request

If you deem yourself eligible for a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  • Print and complete the Product Warranty Form.
  • Email the form (plus the "initial report" if applicable) to info@cameraparadise.com and clearly state the malfunction, your identity (customer account information), and date of purchase.
  • We do always strongly recommand customer to return the camera with an "initial report"
  • Once the request and information provided are confirmed,
    • for non-accessory products, CameraParadise.com will send a courier to your door, pick up the malfunctioning unit, and have it sent back to our office directly. All of these without you paying a cent!
    • for accessory products, Buyer shall arrange delivery of the item to our office by themselves.
  • Once the malfunctioning unit is back to our office, a specialist technician will examine the validity of the claim.
    • If it is valid, it will be repaired and sent back to you, completely free of charge! This is our industry-leading warranty policy, and a testament of our commitment to excellence in customer service.
    • If it is not deemed to be warrantable (including but not exclusive to, damages from ill-usage, incorrect storage, wear and tears, etc.), you will be contacted with the cause of malfunction, repair cost, and the return shipping cost. You then will have the following options
      • We can send the malfunctioning unit back to you unrepaired, where you only have to pay for the shipping cost to and from; OR
      • We can repair it for you based on the cost of repair. It will then be sent back to you. You will have to pay for the repair cost and the shipping cost to and from.
  • The cost of sending the product (repaired or unrepaired) from us back to Buyer would be responsible by Buyer and would be the same as the one Buyer paid in the original purchase price, excluding discounts if any. If Buyer does not pay this cost, CameraParadise.com shall not send the product back and shall keep the products for solely 60 days. If this cost is still not received from Buyer after 60 days, CameraParadise.com will dispose the product without prior notice.

    • If any product returns without suitable protection, including but not limited to: no lens cap attached to the lens or camera body.  it will automatically void any and all forms of warranty
  • Should the product requiring repair, return without "initial report", and it turns out to be an human fault damage, Cameraparadise reserve the right to reject such claims and will qoute the fee require to complete the repair and/or the return of the product
  • Please allow CameraParadise.com reasonable time for inspection of the damaged product to determine the malfunction.
