Here are some frequently asked questions from our customers:
    • Will I be charged any GST (Australia) or VAT (the UK)?

      Will I be charged any GST (Australia) or VAT (UK)?
      No, we 100% guarantee you that you will not be charged any GST or VAT. Any additional charges will be billed to us directly. The price you pay to us is all you have to pay to receive the order.
      Australia: We achieve this by sending your orders to our logistic centres in Australia first; and then divert it to you.
      The UK: If your delivery address is in the UK, you will see a “VAT” charge during checkout. It is in fact a clearance fee for us to process your order through the UK custom and to ensure any VAT will not go to you. This clearance fee is substantially lower than the VAT you have to pay typically.
      Other countries except Australia and UK: Taxation may be charged by your government. We will not be responsible for the taxation and related fees howsoever caused. If any delay or non-receive due to customs occurs, your payment will not be refunded under any and all circumstances.

    • Are your items all brand new and unused?

    • Yes, all of our items are brand new and unused, and not refurbished.

    • Where will the products be shipped from?

    • We will ship our products from Hong Kong where our office and warehouse are located.

    • What’s the warranty about? How does it work?

    • The warranty is provided by Camera Paradise but not by the manufacturers. Should your products have any problem within 18 months after purchase, please contact us to arrange local warranty service or overseas warranty service. Please read more about warranty here. We CANNOT provide any manufacturers’ warranty; therefore, our price is competitive.

    • Why can´t you offer manufacturers´ warranty? Are all of your products genuine and brand new, but not refurbished?

    • All of our products are brand new and genuine but not refurbished. We sell imported goods. That´s why we can offer you very competitive price but cannot offer manufacturers’ warranty.

      Most of our products only come with local warranty which may be in Japan, Thailand, and the U.S.; and do not support international manufacturers’ warranty. Therefore, we can only offer warranty by ourselves, to provide the faith to our customers that we are responsible even after selling the products. It will be useless if we only give our customers that "local" manufacturers’ warranty since it is not available for international customers. That´s the reason why our prices are lower and we can only offer the warranty by Mack warranty or by ourselves.

    • Do your products come with English manuals?

    • Our products are imported goods from other countries so it may not include English manuals but they must include English language system inside the camera.

      Should you not receive the English manual, please go online and find the manufacturer´s site (e.g. Nikon) to download the manual.

    • Will the screen protector exactly match the monitor?

    • Most of them will, but some cameras have a special monitor which may lead to little differences.

    • Is your product PAL or NTSC?

    • We would provide PAL or NTSC, depending on the country’s needs. If we do not have either one of them in stock, we would provide you the other version. Please specify to us if you must need one of the versions.

    • If I do not like the products after received, can you provide cash back?

    • We are sorry that Camera Paradise does not provide cash back in case you do not like what you have purchased or you have changed your mind after that. Please think twice before placing your order.

    • What would happen if the color I have chosen for the camera is no longer available?

    • We would replace it with any color we have in stock but we would notify you before shipment.

    • Can I cancel my order after checkout?

    • No, you cannot cancel your order after checkout. We will immediately process your order after receiving your payment. So please think twice before placing your order.

    • Are your products authentic?

    • Yes, all of our products come from original manufacturers. We sell imported goods, that´s why you can find our prices very competitive.

    • Why is my shipment beyond 1-3 working days. 

    • Typically after payment and phone verification, we will dispatch your order out within 1-2 working days and you will receive your order in the next 1-3 working day.  The tracking number will be provided to your around 6-9pm on the date it is dispatched

    • Phone verification, when you will call and how it will effect my delivery time?

    • Typically we will call between 11-1pm and 5-9pm Australian time.  If you order same day cut of time at 10am Australian time. 

       

      Therefore if the order is made and paid before 10am, we will call you between 11-1pm, as long as it is taken within this "morning round" the order will have a good chance for it to be dispatch on the same day, with the exception of new industry items, and items marked with other status such as 2-3 weeks handling time.

    • Do your products include any plug / adapter suitable for my country (depending on the shipping address)?

    • Yes, our camera products would include your country´s power adapter to make sure you can use the purchased items in your country.

    • Custom held my item, what can i do?

    • Most of the time our shipment can go through from our warehouse to you without any hold up.  However it is at the discretion of your government to select or tighten their checks without notice, this will effect all shipments coming into your country, not just ours.  In such a case, please remain calm and email us with your CP order id so that we can follow up asap, and advise you further.

    • My order was not dispatched even after 1-2 full working days handling time? (End of month, and Public holiday)

    • When it is end of month and after Public holiday, we close early during end of month for stock checking and after public holiday we will have extremely high volume of orders, thus some order may excess the 1-2 full working days handling time

    • I am not from Australia and UK. If I make a purchase with you will I be subject to taxations?

    • Currenlty we only ensure tax free delivery to Australia and UK.  Any other countries, taxation is not included and may be charged by your governement and collected by the courier.  It is your responsiblity to make such payment and Camera Paradise are not responsible howsoever caused.

    • Some accessories have the word OEM, What does it mean?

    • Some accessories we place the word "OEM", this means that it is not an accessories made from the original manufacturer such as Canon, Nikon etc.  It is made from 3rd party provide suitable but cheaper altenratives.  Typically we have accessories of OEM Battery and OEM Lens Hoods
